Midnight Sun
This "Yukon noir" has just been shortlisted in the 2009 Creative World Awards. The story was also shortlisted by the BlueCat Screenplay Competition in Hollywood in 2009, beating out 2,560 other scripts in the competition.

Writer Elle Wild (nee Raine Scott) gratefully acknowledges the support of the Canada Council for the Arts for providing a research/travel grant for the project, as well as the Yukon Arts Council and Klondike Institute of Arts and Culture (KIAC) for providing her with an Artist in Residency position in Dawson City, where the story is set.

Midnight Sun is Wild’s first feature screenplay.
